at the airport

nope, not much interesting to report from the airport, probably why I'm creating this post. Easy ride to the airport and now just taking it easy until the flight leaves. Have a 4 hr flight to JFK and then an 8hr flight to Rome. Then its a short train from the airport to Rome's main station and then a train up to Florence. Should be there by noon local time on Friday as long as all goes well. Due to having only an hour layover in JFK I probably won't be posting again until I get to Florence and am all setup and caught up on sleep.
